Reverse Engineering
When it comes to unique projects, you have to give this one a top spot on the list. The parts you see here were from a vintage elevator located in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
The obsolete part on the left was the original part for the elevator that would indicate whether the elevator was going up or down by lighting up the top portion, or the bottom portion of the shape.
The new part on the right is the reverse engineered part that we were able to design to replace the old elevator indicator light. By custom cutting and machining, Fedtech was able to put together a new part for the elevator.
A perfect fit for a vintage elevator was created and there is a brand new look and feel to the downtown elevator!
