Custom Retail Displays
This project, which was processed at Fedtech for a retail display, will be assembled, installed and exhibited around the U.S and Canada, for public viewing in the next couple months.
This particular project called for custom waterjet cut flowers from .020” thick 5052 aluminum, 1/16” thick PETG, and .062” thick white HDPE. The parts shown here were the aluminum décor.
Abrasive waterjet cutting was a perfect method for processing the artistic parts from aluminum, especially since laser cutting is not typically used to cut reflective materials like these.
The photo posted here also reveals the end display at the customer’s storefront. The lighting hit the aluminum parts so nicely and set an ambiance throughout the store on their opening night. The project was well thought through and it couldn’t have turned out more beautifully!
