Laser Cut Animal Shapes
This laser cut project was a complex but fun project to follow. The parts that were cut were processed from 11 gage HRPO carbon steel. The finished parts (roughly 9" high and 5" wide) will be shipped to a business in St. Paul, MN for a future exhibit at a museum of art.
Split Rock Studios fabricates murals, sculptures, and other forms of art for their company and showcases them all over the country. These particular parts have not yet been disclosed as to what they are being used for, but if you visit their website, you're more than likely to see the completed project first hand.
Since these parts needed to be burr free, and were very intricate, laser cutting was a great method for processing. Not to mention, carbon steel is one of the best materials for us to provide laser cutting services for.
