Custom Flooring Solutions

In this recent project, Fedtech used water-only waterjet cutting to process VCT (or vinyl composition tile). The tiles all came in 12” by 12” squares and when finished and put together, made a rectangle of 60” x 168”.

The tiles that we cut were 1/8” thick and came in three different colors; white, tan and black. From there, the programming department at Fedtech programmed the waterjet to cut the tiles in perfect shapes from the different colors so that they would all fit together to form the final portrait.

The final project was a Minuteman logo and is currently being proudly displayed at a high school located in St. Paul, MN. Fedtech’s waterjet cutting capabilities are a great choice for processing tile of all different types.
