Waterjet Cut Rubber Belting for Rock Climbing
A neat project completed by Fedtech was waterjet cutting matting for a rock climbing wall. The material used here was 3/8" rubber belting.
This project was different from our usual operations in that the material was extremely long and rolled up just like carpet. This was just another reason our large cutting envelopes are helpful. They enable us to process more surface area per minute than traditional waterjet cutting tables.
The finished products feature smooth edges, exact specifications, and maximum precision. Waterjet cutting was a great choice for processing the rubber belting, and the customer was very pleased with their end results.
