Waterjet Cutting Baseball Bats - World Series 2009
The world series is at it's prime, and we wanted to have a little fun too! So we took a couple of baseball bats, and waterjet cut the two teams into the bats. They turned out so cool! Watch the video on YouTube here!

Fedtech Brings in the Xpert
New to the production floor this month was a Bystronic Beyeler Xpert 320, a 161" x 144" press brake. This machine will use 352 tons of force when forming parts for customers. The Xpert also features 29" of open height, 18" RAM stroke, hydraulic tool clamping for fast setup. See the full article on our press release page.

New Timesaver Makes Finishing a Breeze
Fedtech adds a Timesaver 1100 to the production floor, the back to back finishing system provides 10-30 FPM feed speed to complete projects quick and efficiently. The Timesaver finishes twice as the part goes through first for a hard finish, then into the second for a softer finish. A new addition to the Fedtech sales team helps to decrease lead times and increase turnaround. New sales team member, Nate Novak is now officially quoting and in the sales and estimating action. Fedtech is happy to quote your project with 24-hour priority quoting for waterjet and laser cutting!

A sneak peak at our newest machinery!
Check out our newest in waterjet machinery, one of the largest pieces of equipment on our production floor!
Our newest investment in machinery has already been making huge improvements on the production floor. With a cutting envelope that is 156"x 360", it allows us to load and cut multiple large sheets of material at the same time, providing maximum production capability with cutting accuracies of plus/minus .010".
Also, the machinery runs with multiple head cutting, giving us the freedom to place the heads any distance we'd like while maintaining quick, easy, and efficient production. Not only this, but it also means greater capability for highest accuracy in waterjet cutting. Another attribute here is the 150 horsepower intensifier pump. It generates pressure up to 60,000 psi for continuous delivery to ensure smooth, high quality cut parts.
Our new Accustream 60150 HP intensifier pump features the AIT (Advanced Intensifier Technology) which permits a higher output flow rate which supplies the ultra-high pressured water to more heads and can also feed larger cutting heads.
With the new cutting edge technology, we're able to stay on top of all the tasks put in front of us while still maintaining the excellence that we are known for.

Summer 2006
Expansion In The Workplace
In the summer of 2006, we were fortunate enough to be able to acquire additional space. We obtained 1200 more square feet for our office space, moving from one area of the building to another remodeled area. We also were able to secure 7000 more square feet of shop space, allowing us to get more work done in a more efficient manor.
This change was just the beginning. Along with the new space, Fedtech implemented a new quality system, received a logo facelift, and has also gained a couple new members on the office staff.
