Waterjet Cutting Services
At Fedtech, our waterjet cutting services are a cut above the rest. Our CNC machinery and programming software helps us create flawless designs out of raw material. By staying up-to-date in the industry, and using cutting edge waterjet technology, we give our customers quality parts and products along with competitive pricing. There are many applications where abrasive waterjet cutting technology is the cutting method of choice. Waterjet is an excellent choice when cutting thick materials, where laser cutting is ideal for thin steels. Waterjet cutting is also great for reflective materials that laser shouldn't cut, or can't cut including copper, brass, titanium, wood, acrylic, plastic, and more. You can compare laser cutting and waterjet cutting here if you would like to see the difference.
Fedtech, Inc. of Minnesota features ultra-high pressure waterjet cutting and machining with fast turnaround on parts. Our waterjet cutting services use water compressed up to 60,000 PSI as a powerful and precise cutting tool in manufacturing. The jet stream generated by this waterjet cutting is capable of cutting material from .0005" thick up to 12 inches thick.

Waterjet Cutting? |
Abrasive waterjet cutting can pierce or drill holes as small as .030" in diameter (0.004" for waterjet cutting without abrasive). Fedtech's state-of-the art waterjet cutting capabilities are unmatched at our precision manufacturing and cost-effective operation.
Although waterjet cutting is comparable to laser cutting and other conventional machining processes, waterjet cutting services are sometimes more affordable when the project requires pre-hole drilling. Secondary operations are virtually eliminated and material waste is considerably reduced because of the ability to provide close nesting of parts.
We are proud of our combination of quality, price and service and we aim to keep our customers satisfied with each and every project completed.
We currently have twelve waterjet cutting systems equipped to handle all types of cutting applications with the ability to turn around your needs in a fast and efficient manner. Contact us to find out more, and then put our waterjet cutting experience to work for you!
