Another project completed at Fedtech was processing .025" thick titanium. This was a fun project to observe because titanium is an element known for being stronger than steel but incredibly lightweight at the same time. This makes titanium a very fascinating material to process.

In this particular project, the small titanium pieces would be used as conductors for electricity in vacuum cleaners. The customer found the easiest and most cost effective way, was to use waterjet cutting to attain 13,200 identical pieces.

Since the customer chose waterjet cutting, they received their 13,200 tiny titanium parts quickly. The customer didn't have to wait long, or break the bank to keep their business in motion.
