Honeycomb Aluminum
 A recently completed project involved processing .125” thick honeycomb aluminum. These pieces were 2.010” in diameter, and there were to be 420 pieces total in the end. The pieces were cut from 4’ x 4’ sheets of material, and then waterjet cut to reach the desired size.
The honeycomb aluminum is very malleable and thus it was difficult to handle the material as it needed to be handled very carefully. However, it was the perfect pick for waterjet cutting to use minimal handling and achieve maximum quality. Not only that, but Fedtech was able to finish the job completely in a very short amount of time.
