10" Copper Bars
One of our recently completed projects was cutting through 10" copper bars, which proved to be a bit of a difficult task. Traditional milling operations have been found to be much less efficient because of their tendency to leave drop in the unusable state of shavings, so we decided to use waterjet cutting to process the copper material instead. Our waterjet machinery instead cuts the copper through the center while still keeping it in one piece. This allows for the reuse of the copper at a later date. With copper being over $4,000 a piece here, the customer was lucky enough to save thousands of dollars by reusing the drop.
