Rubber Belting for Rock Climbing
A neat project that was just finished by Fedtech was matting for a rock climbing wall. The material used here was 3/8” rubber belting, and was processed by using waterjet cutting.
This project was different from our usual operations in that the material was extremely long and rolled up just like carpet. This was just another reason to be thankful for our large cutting envelopes we’ve invested in. They enable us to process more surface area per minute than traditional waterjet cutting tables.
 The finished products feature smooth edges, exact specifications, and maximum precision. Waterjet cutting was a great choice for processing the rubber belting here, and the customer was very pleased with their end results.
